21 Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour's wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour's house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbour's.
Fair, Fair, Fair, Fair, Fair…
Liberal class warfare rhetoric has nothing to do with “fairness” but everything to do with coveting thy neighbor’s portfolio.
When University of Kentucky freshman Vincent Swope hit a half-court shot at halftime on Saturday — the kind no one ever really makes — he took a victory lap. He had just won $10,000. Or did he?
Almost immediately, someone from the contest approached him with the rules, and said that Swopes might not win the money from the sponsor — the supermarket chain, Kroger — because he could have been slightly over the line.
This only goes to show that we don't need rules. We just need to protest when we don't like something and all will be made right.
It’s not a joke. It‘s the reality in President Obama’s home state.
Illinois has a new law that took effect on January 1 requiring all people who purchase drain cleaners or any caustic substances to provide a government issued photo ID. And retailers now must ask for identification from those buying drain cleaners and maintain extensive records of which caustic products have been purchased, in what amounts, and by whom.
President Barack Obama‘s chief campaign strategist David Axelrod said Sunday he’s “not sure” if Mitt Romney would have made the same decision to take out Osama bin Laden.
Axelrod made his remarks on ABC’s “This Week” in the context of discussing Obama’s national security credentials, which have come under fire from the GOP presidential candidates hoping to unseat him.
We're not sure that Obama made the call to kill Bin Laden. The commander in charge of the operation probably made the call because he knew Obama would have to put it before a focus group before he made a decision.
We already know what an important economic advisory role MF Global CEO Jon Corzine played for the Obama administration, but the company’s COO has also had a hand in designing the economy. Bradley Abelow, who served as Corzine’s Chief of Staff during his tenure as New Jersey governor, has been advising the Environmental Protection Agency, perhaps on how to safeguard America’s economic lungs from inhaling any of the $1.2 billion that went up in smoke during his MF Global tenure.
Willie Jackson gets 5 years for palming a gold chain at Kay Jewelers. Here we have executives padding their bank accounts to the tune of $1.2 BILLION and all we say is, “Wow, that Corzine is a bit inept for loosing $1.2 billion.”
Where are the cops??? EVERYBODY in the company should be thrown in the hooscow until the thieves can be separated from the honest workers.
The journal Science on Thursday fully retracted a controversial study that had linked a mouse leukemia retrovirus to chronic fatigue syndrome, a disabling illness affecting an estimated one million people in the United States.
Sooo, we still don't know what causes about a million people to be lazy asses. I don't have any scientific data yet, but may I be among the hundred thousandth to suggest that perhaps welfare is a culprit for "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome?"
The conservative Wall Street Journal editorial board came down hard on House Republicans Wednesday for pandering on passing a payroll tax break that would extend cuts to 160 million American workers. The Journal is baffled regarding how Republicans are managing “to lose the tax issue to Obama,” and the board claims that the GOP is becoming an unintentional ally for the Obama reelection campaign team:
“Republicans have also achieved the small miracle of letting Mr. Obama position himself as an election-year tax cutter, although he’s spent most of his Presidency promoting tax increases and he would hit the economy with one of the largest tax increases ever in 2013. This should be impossible.”
I get what Boehner is saying but his timing absolutely sucks. The White House is jumping up and down with glee at what the House is doing right now. A tax hike on the middle class that can be blamed on the Republicans will be great fodder for the Democrats in an election year. Boehner needs to realize he screwed up, swallow his pride, and go with the 2 months extension.
If my kid came home hell bent on changing my mind, she wouldn't be going back to the place where she learned that drivel. At least not on my dime. She better come home telling me about how she converted a bunch of liberal crazies to be realistic about the world.
A Utah man who won a $380,000 Lamborghini in a convenience store chain’s contest crashed the sports car six hours after he got it.
I couldn't even afford the tax, tag, and title for that bad boy. And if I did take it out for a spin I'd be real careful until I familiarized myself with how it handles.
As the Iowa Caucuses approach, the media is turning up the heat on a number of candidates, perhaps none so much as Congressman Ron Paul.
In a contentious interview with CNN’s Gloria Borger, Rep. Paul lost patience with repeated questions about incendiary language in newsletters published under his name back in the 1980′s.
When Borger asked the first time whether he had read the newsletters, Rep. Paul responded “not all the time, on occasion, we talked about this twice.”
Paul then further clarified his stance as “I didn‘t write ’em, I disavow them. that’s it.”
This was apparently not enough for Borger, who insinuated that Paul had profited to the tune of a million dollars off of the newsletters in 1993.
Paul is not electable. I'm glad the liberals are going after him now. Hopefully they can tear him down before the primaries start.
